Overview: This is the bezel which sits behind the engine release lever, commonly found cracked or shattered. This engine release bezel is black. No longer available from Toyota

Suitability: Will suit all year model and market variants of SW20.

Fitment: The engine release bezel is retained by 1 x phillips head screw and retaining hook on the bezel itself.

1) Unscrew the phillips head screw

2) Pull the engine release lever to allow the old bezel come come out easier.

3) Pull the engine release lever forward separating the retaining hook and slide the new bezel into place, re-fit and tighten the retaining screw DO NOT OVER-TIGHTEN the screw! this is generally what causes them to crack.

As with all Toyota parts if you would like to maintain a 12 month warranty on the parts Toyota require genuine parts to be fitted by an Authorised Toyota technician.
