Overview: If the speedo no longer works in your vehicle it could be several things on the earlier model SW20's it's common for the speedo cable to fail.

On the later model SW20's there is no speedo cable to fail so if you've checked the instrument cluster and speedo sub-gear assembly the next part to check is this nylon gear/cog inside the transmission itself.

The teeth on the gear can become worn and cause incorrect or no speedo reading at all.

Suitability: This transmission speedo ring/gear/cog will suit all E153 (turbo) transmissions from Dec 1991 onward the earlier model gears are unfortunately now discontinued.

As with all Toyota parts if you would like to maintain a 12 month warranty on the parts Toyota require genuine parts to be fitted by an Authorised Toyota technician.
