Overview: This is a aftermarket front bumper lip for the Toyota SW20. This is a replacement to the original front bumper lip.

If you are familiar with the SW20 body styling the early model SW20's were fitted with a two piece front bumper spoiler/lip from the factory after which they were fitted with a larger one piece front lip.

This aftermarket front spoiler is similar to the front spoilers found on the later SW20's around 1992 onward, we have compared this front lip directly with the genuine one and have found it is slightly more angled/larger but quite similar overall.

Colour: Black polyurethane, for those of you who aren't familiar with polyurethane it's basically the same material the factory front bumper is made out of and unlike fiberglass
is very flexible and forgiving on speed humps etc.

The item is unpainted, it can be fitted as is however due to slight imperfections in the moulding process we recommend finish and painting to look 100%

Fitment: This front lip is designed to fit the factory front bumper. If you have a one piece style lip already fitted you can reuse your original mounting hardware and brackets and simply replace the lip with this one, *Note on our most recent production run the manufacturer has pre-drilled the side mounts but not the top ones for a more accurate fitment, you will need to mark and drill these.

Due to the nature of polyurethane your original front bumper may have changed shape slightly over time/ the lip may not be perfect so the manufacturer recommends leaving the front lip in the sun for 1 hour to heat the polyurethane before fitment to ensure it conforms to the correct shape.

We have now had a number of customers fit these front lips and have had good reports however a few customers have needed to re-position some holes in the lip to fit to their front bumper 100%, ( the holes are now left un-drilled at the top from the manufacturer so you can get it spot on) 

Keep in mind if you have the earlier two piece style front lip currently fitted you may reuse the side mount brackets but not the front one, you may use the included hardware along the front which is basically screws which screw directly into the front bumper.

We however recommend if you have the earlier type front lip to use five nuts and bolts with some large flat washers (not included) we think this is a more desirable way to fit the front lip than to screw it into the bumper itself however both options will work.

Although a little bit of care needs to be taken during installation we have found these to be the best quality aftermarket polyurethane front lips currently available, we carry two other styles please see our other listings below.
