Overview: This is the genuine midship runabout badge which was fitted to the Japanese spec ZZW30 Spyder, The first two letters in MR2 stand for Midship Runabout although definitions vary the general consensus of the meaning is the following:

Midship = Mid Engine, Runabout = Nimble, Agile,  2 = two seater, Given the definition is relevant to the heritage of all MR2's the badge does not look out of place on any year model MR2.

Suitability: The midship runabout badge is a direct fit for the Spyder although can easily be fitted to the other generations of MR2 with a small modification (see below)

Fitment: The rear of the midship badge is self-adhesive and has two alignment pins if you have a MK3 Spyder the badge has the correct alignment pin locations if not then the top pin will need to be chopped off with a small hacksaw blade or side-cutters and alignment done with the bottom pin only. To remove an existing badge dental floss or fishing line can be used to separate the old adhesive from the old badge.

As with all Toyota parts if you would like to maintain a 12 month warranty on the parts Toyota require genuine parts to be fitted by an Authorised Toyota technician.
